Beloved Saint, what is the weight of a word? In the beginning, the world itself was forged not from matter, but from the spoken Word of God. And in that divine echo, our own spiritual journey is defined. For many among the redeemed, the road to spiritual maturity is a pilgrimage from the simple comforts of a spiritual babe to the full, unshakable stature of a son of the King. This transition, this holy ascension, is not an event but a continuous process, a shedding of old mindsets for the glorious new reality that has been freely given to us in Christ. Yet, we must ask: why do so many saints remain in a season of struggle, held captive by the very circumstances that Christ has already overcome?
The Shift from Begging to Believing
It is a profound mystery of grace that a believer, who is a partaker of the divine nature, could live at a low level, content to be a spiritual infant when they are called to be a giant in the faith. A spiritual babe may cry out, “Oh God, strengthen me,” yet the mature Christian, understanding their place in the finished work of the cross, boldly declares, "I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!" This is the shift from hope to reality, from begging for a miracle to becoming a miracle worker. We are not to be a people who are constantly seeking for God to do something for us, but a people who know what God has already done and act from that reality. Divine health, provision, and freedom have already been secured for us through the redemptive work of Christ. Our role is to receive and express that truth.
The Power of Words and Confession
The very language we speak locates our spiritual position. The unshakeable truth is that your life is a direct reflection of the Word of God that you have inside of you, and it is with your words that you frame your world. Just as God spoke and things came into being, so too are we—His very children—empowered to create our reality through our confessions. The Christian’s life is defined by the convictions they voice. Do you speak from the realm of fear, saying, “I’m afraid of what might happen,” or do you speak from the realm of faith, declaring, “Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world”?
Christian perfection is based on the confessions of the mouth. You cannot talk sickness and expect health; you cannot confess poverty and expect abundance. A man’s spirituality is measured by his lips. Be immovable, refusing to talk fear, for what you say is what you get, whether you like it or not.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Ghost was not given for an emotional spectacle, but for a singular, sacred purpose: that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. The Spirit of Truth came to make the Word of God, which has been consummated in the redemptive plan of God, to become real and vital in your life. He came to bring you into the living, viral experience of all that Christ accomplished in His substitutionary work.
📖 “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:12, KJV)
The Greek word for "know" in this verse, oida, means to become aware. The Holy Spirit’s ministry is to get us acquainted with the things that God has freely given us so that we do not have to beg, struggle, or ask for them. We are to simply accept, receive, and act as though they have already become a reality. This is the faith life of the Christian, for we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. Our gaze must always be upon what the Word says, not on what our circumstances, feelings, or senses tell us.
---~~~⚜️ A GEM OF REVELATION ⚜️~~~--- The fall of man in the garden of Eden was not merely a physical event, but a spiritual death. Adam's spirit, once alive to God, became subject to his senses. His vision was clouded by the dust of the world, and he could no longer see the glory of God. In Christ, our spirits have been made alive again, and our vision is restored. We must now see and speak from God’s perspective, not man’s. The Holy Spirit has come to guide us into all truth, into all reality—a constant, divine unfolding of our identity in Christ.
Embracing the Divine Nature: The Pillars of Progression
The Word of God is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all them who are sanctified. For a Saint to ascend into their full reality in Christ, they must embrace a life of constant communion with the Word and the Spirit.
- 1. The Knowledge of the Word: The Word is the very source of our being and our spiritual advancement. Without it, our lives will be dominated by the circumstances of the world.
- 2. Meditation on the Word: To know the Word in your head is insufficient. Through meditation, it soaks into your spirit, becoming a part of your very being, until your profiting becomes evident to all.
- 3. Praying in the Spirit: He that speaks in an unknown tongue edifies himself, building himself up on his most holy faith. It is a divine secret to a life that is unshakable and unmovable, for in the Spirit you speak mysteries that your mind cannot comprehend.
- 4. Speaking Wisdom: This is the act of speaking your reality into being. It is a bold declaration of who you are and what you possess in Christ. This is not a prayer of asking but a release of divine energy.
- 5. Laying on of Hands: As believers, we have been given the authority to release the power of God. Jesus declared that we shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Our hands become the conduit of His healing and restoration.
Grace for Every Situation
In Christ, grace has been lavished upon us in all wisdom and prudence (Ephesians 1:7-8). The original Greek words for this passage reveal a profound truth. Sophia is the wisdom of God, the embodiment of all knowledge and divine purpose. Phronesis, translated as "prudence," is the practical wisdom, the kind God gave to Solomon. It encompasses practical insights, discretion, foresight, and circumspection. It is a mindset given for every situation. How then, beloved Saint, could you fail? For the Holy Spirit has come to guide you into all truth, a glorious reality of clarity and purpose where you are no longer guessing in your life.
† I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. (Acts 20:32, KJV). You were not created to be a beggar, but a victor. Your spirit has come alive to God. You have been given the keys to the kingdom. Now, walk by faith and not by sight. Do not let your senses dictate your reality, but let your words create it. Go forth and live as the unshakable, immovable child of God that you are, for your life is forever progressing, forever increasing, and forever a testimony to the living Word.
