Welcome to SCRIPTURA. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SCRIPTURA mobile and web application (the "App"), and any related services provided by Kingston Bio, a Sole Proprietorship business located at Agbalilame, agblangandan, seme kpodji, oueme - Benin republic ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

1. Description of Service

SCRIPTURA is an interactive, AI-powered spiritual guide designed to provide a deep, reverent, and personal journey through the Holy Scriptures. The Service includes features such as conversational AI, guided study, community interaction spaces ("Zion Mounts"), personal journaling ("Scribe's Chronicle"), and other tools for spiritual growth.

2. User Accounts

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use SCRIPTURA.

Account Creation: You are required to register for an account to access the full features of the App. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.

Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

Scriptura ID: You will create a unique Scriptura ID that serves as your identifier within the App, including in community spaces.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use SCRIPTURA only for its intended purpose and in a manner that is lawful and respectful. You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Generate, post, or share content that is hateful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person within the community features (Zion Mounts).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise discover the source code of the App.
• Use automated scripts to collect information from or otherwise interact with the Service.
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with a person or entity.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The responses, devotionals, study plans, and all other text generated by the AI within SCRIPTURA ("AI Content") are created by a sophisticated artificial intelligence.

For Spiritual Guidance Only: The AI Content is intended for spiritual guidance, reflection, and educational purposes. It is designed to operate within the doctrinal framework provided in its system instructions.

Not a Substitute for Professional Counsel: SCRIPTURA is not a substitute for professional pastoral, psychological, medical, or legal advice. The AI is not equipped to handle crisis situations. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services immediately.

No Guarantee of Accuracy: While we strive for theological consistency and accuracy, we do not warrant that the AI Content will be free from errors or omissions. Users should always cross-reference AI Content with the Holy Scriptures and seek counsel from trusted spiritual leaders.

5. User-Generated Content

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create, such as journal entries in the "Scribe's Chronicle," prayer requests, and comments in "Zion Mounts" ("User Content").

License to Us: By creating User Content within the App, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating, developing, and providing the SCRIPTURA service.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. We do not endorse any User Content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein.

6. Community Features ("Zion Mounts")

Respectful Interaction: You agree to interact with other users in the Zion Mounts with grace, respect, and love, in accordance with biblical principles of fellowship.

Moderation: We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to monitor and moderate content and interactions within Zion Mounts. We may remove any content or suspend user access for violating these Terms or community standards at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All aspects of the SCRIPTURA App, including but not limited to the design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and the AI models (excluding User Content), are the exclusive property of Kingston Bio and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

8. Premium Subscription Services

Billing: We offer enhanced features and content through paid subscriptions ("Premium Services"). By selecting a Premium Service, you agree to pay the specified fees. All payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor.

Automatic Renewal: Unless you cancel your subscription, it will automatically renew at the end of the subscription period. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the renewal term.

Cancellations & Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. All subscription fees are non-refundable, except as required by law.

9. Termination

By You: You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings in the App.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at our sole discretion, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

"AS IS" Service: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the App or the information, content, or materials included therein.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kingston Bio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kingston Bio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Benin Republic, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
